Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health and prevent weeds from growing.
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to ensure a smooth and efficient harvesting process.
  • Hand harvest vegetables to ensure high-quality produce.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.
  • Weeding and fertilizing crops to maintain optimal growing conditions.
  • Harvest crops in a timely and efficient manner to meet market demands.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Work site environment: Outdoors, wet/damp, dusty, hot, and cold/refrigerated.
  • Work setting: Rural area.
  • Transportation: Own transportation required.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, tight deadlines, physically demanding, hand-eye coordination, ability to distinguish between colors, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and walking.
