The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all ware washing rooms, chinaware storage areas, and food preparation rooms.
  • Overseeing the setup and maintenance of service stations, clearing stations, and food plating areas to ensure they are always ready for use.
  • Ensuring timely completion of requisitions from various departments and positioning them correctly.

In this role, you will utilize your leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide your team. You will also work closely with other departments to ensure that all events run smoothly and efficiently.

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • 2 years of experience working in a hotel or convention setting.
  • A post-secondary degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (an asset).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety, food safety, and SDS procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.
