About the Role
Sun Life is seeking a seasoned Change Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of change initiatives across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to support business initiatives, leveraging a structured methodology and tools to drive adoption and minimize resistance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess the impact of change on stakeholders, and develop targeted communications and training strategies to address their needs.
- Support the development of clear and engaging communications that align with Sun Life's brand guidelines and vision, and are tailored to the needs of various stakeholders.
- Provide input and content for training requirements, and address field and advisor resistance through proactive monitoring and engagement.
- Define and measure success metrics to ensure the effectiveness of change activities, and integrate change management into project plans to drive business outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with key business partners to recommend the right change management approach and tactics to support their objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in change management, with a solid understanding of how people go through change and the ability to look at change through the eyes of multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, with a certification or designation such as Prosci.
- Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate the change story and messages to various audiences.
- Experience developing, supporting, and executing change management plans and communication strategies, with a strong track record of driving business outcomes.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization, with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
- Familiarity with large-scale organizational change efforts and project management approaches, with a strong problem-solving ability and desire to get to the root cause.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (business, communications) or equivalent work experience.
