Job Title: Construction Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Safety Officer to join our team at Atlas-Apex Roofing (Kitchener) Inc. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and subcontractors.

Job Summary:

The Construction Safety Officer will assist in the implementation of safety programs, evaluate existing safety protocols, and plan new safety initiatives. You will provide information and training to employers, employees, and the general public on safety best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety programs
  • Evaluate safety protocols and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and conduct safety training sessions
  • Provide information and training on safety best practices
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, working outdoors in various locations. You will be required to work at heights and in hot environments.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots
