About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Safety Officer to join our team at Atlas-Apex Roofing (Kitchener) Inc. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for implementing and evaluating safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures
  • Evaluate and improve existing safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Provide training and information to employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction safety or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment as required
