Job Title: Restaurant Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Team Lead to join our team at Kwality Sweets & Restaurant. As a Restaurant Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that they are ordered in a timely manner.
  • Hire food service staff and conduct performance evaluations to ensure that they are meeting the expectations of the restaurant.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management and provide recommendations for improving restaurant operations.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
