Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to join our GSC Engineering and Maintenance team at HF Sinclair Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Engineering and Maintenance teams, ensuring the effective execution of engineering requirements and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall direction and leadership to the Engineering and Maintenance teams
  • Ensure equipment is returned to Operations at the expected time
  • Manage the execution of engineering requirements to support maintenance
  • Develop and implement effective working relationships with internal contacts
  • Drive commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Supervise a team of Maintenance coordinators, Supervisors, and Industrial Mechanics
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years management/supervisory experience in a maintenance environment
  • Experience in Plant, Project, and Reliability engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver timely and effective results while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints
  • Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP
  • Expert knowledge of manufacturing equipment and capabilities
Work Environment

The Lubes Centre is a 24/7 operation that is safety-sensitive and potentially hazardous. The workforce consists of many craft and professional disciplines within PCLI and a large contracted maintenance service provider. Excess hours are required to be worked during Turnaround (Shutdown/Start-up) or Urgent/Emergency Situations.
