As we continue to grow, PSD Citywide is looking to add a dynamic Training and Development Professional to our Implementation team. This is a Full-Time Remote based role within Canada.

Job Description

As a Training and Development Professional, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to PSD Citywide clients, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our software products.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of software applications, and the ability to facilitate engaging and effective training sessions.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, administrators, and other stakeholders on our software products.
  • Design and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Conduct comprehensive internal training programs for employees on the effective use of our software products.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to stay current on software updates and new features, incorporating this information into training programs.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and customize programs accordingly.
  • Provide one-on-one or group training sessions, either in person or through virtual platforms, to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions through participant feedback and assessment results, making adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure that client-facing user guides and internal training materials are up-to-date.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and training best practices to continuously improve training programs.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to address customer training needs and contribute to customer success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Software Trainer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of general software application functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning methods.
  • Familiarity with different training methods and techniques, both in-person and virtual.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Certification in training or instructional design is considered an asset.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and tools.
  • Experience with modern training tools, including video editors, AI training video generation, Learning Management Systems, Knowledge Base Management systems such as Talent LMS and Happy Fox.
