CNC Punch Programmer/Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Punch Programmer/Operator to join our production team at Mircom Group of Companies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC punch machines to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC punch machines to produce parts and products according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Program and troubleshoot CNC punch machines to optimize production and maintain quality.
  • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening.
  • Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC punch machines and programs.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and be skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems.
  • Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
  • Should have a positive and professional attitude and be available to work weekends and overtime.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds for short periods of time.
  • Familiarity with RADAN of line programming and AMADA CNC punch machines is a plus.
  • Certified in PLC is a bonus.
