Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Hand to join our team at Benn Machine Products. This rewarding position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Machining Operations: Set up and operate CNC turning centres with live tooling, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Tool Management: Utilize appropriate tools, fixtures, and indicators to set up the machine, change cutting tools, modify programs as required, and adjust feeds and speeds.
  • Quality Control: Measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensions are within tolerance, deburr and prepare parts for loading and after unloading.
  • Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and perform all other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in CNC turning operations.
  • A certificate, college degree, or other training in CNC turning is an asset.
  • Fanuc or Haas experience is mandatory, with familiarity with Mastercam preferred.
  • Previous aerospace experience and jobbing shop experience are highly desirable.
