Ben Machine Products, a leading Canadian manufacturer in the defence and aerospace industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Five Axis CNC Machinist to join their team.

As a Senior Five Axis CNC Machinist at Ben Machine Products, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and operating 5-axis CNC vertical milling machines with precision and efficiency.
  • Loading, unloading, changing, and modifying programs as required to meet production demands.
  • Ensuring all safety precautions are in place during machine operation.
  • Deburring and preparing parts for loading and unloading.
  • Measuring and inspecting parts to ensure dimensions are within tolerance.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints with accuracy.
  • Understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in CNC machining, with a focus on 5-axis operations.
  • Certificate of qualification, college degree, or other training in CNC machining is an asset.
  • Fanuc or Haas experience is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Mastercam is preferred.
  • Previous aerospace experience and jobbing shop experience are highly valued.
