Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

At MK Transport Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services, including the supervision of drivers and dispatchers.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate and analyze reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Train and Develop: Provide training and coaching to drivers and dispatchers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Dispatch and Monitor: Coordinate the dispatch of drivers and monitor routes to ensure efficient and safe transportation.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that equipment and vehicles are properly maintained.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals: Arrange for repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles as needed.
  • Requisition Materials: Order and manage the requisition of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
