Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

At MK Transport Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services, including the supervision of drivers and dispatchers.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate and analyze reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Train and Develop: Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members.
  • Dispatch and Monitor: Coordinate the dispatch of drivers and monitor routes to ensure efficient and safe transportation services.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our operations are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the transportation industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
