Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Record Center Specialist to join our team. As a Record Center Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and processing physical assets stored in our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming orders, including scanning carton barcodes and locations on our Safekeeper system.
- Investigate and resolve any order discrepancies for incoming or outgoing orders, and manifest all orders for shipment.
- Accurately prepare all necessary paperwork and communicate any difficult order issues to your manager.
- Inspect and maintain all equipment, including Telxon scanners, wedges, Safekeeper terminals, and ladders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure success and observe safety procedures, reporting any safety issues.
- Perform all physical requirements without assistance and travel between facilities when necessary.
- Mentor others as opportunities arise.
Requirements
- Pays close attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness, with a strong ability to work transparently with minimal supervision.
- Works on their feet all day and lifts, loads, and moves boxes (average weight: 40 pounds).
- Climbs stairs, lifts up to 70 pounds, and uses tools to maneuver materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least one to two years' experience in a warehouse/physical atmosphere and/or service industry and/or team-focused environment.
- Basic computer skills required and strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to adhere to and enforce all security procedures and work well in a team environment.
