Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Job Description:
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to adult patients across various care settings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
- Mentor fellow team members and lead research initiatives
- Engage with clients and families as partners in care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of master's degree
- Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in at least 2 care sectors, including Seniors Health
- CNA Certification in Geriatrics, or willingness to obtain
- Case Management Education
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to work independently & to be flexible to adapt to changing clinical situations
