Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join our team at Recruitment Partners. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of daily tasks and projects.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve team productivity, efficiency, and morale.
  • Financial Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and month-end closing procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Special Projects
    • Collaborate with the Controller to identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency with accounting software/systems, including Microsoft Excel and Acumin.
    • Excellent managerial, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
