About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Toronto as an Academic Instructor for Introductory Ancient Greek II. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering course content, developing and administering assignments, tests, and exams, holding regular office hours, and providing exceptional support to students.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver high-quality course content that meets the needs of students with varying levels of proficiency in Ancient Greek.
- Develop, administer, and mark assignments, tests, and exams that assess student learning outcomes.
- Hold regular office hours to provide individualized support and guidance to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes that enhance student learning experiences.
Requirements:
- Mastery of Ancient Greek language and literature, with experience in teaching and mentoring students at various levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, colleagues, and administrators.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
