Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified academic instructor to teach an English literature course at the University of Toronto.

Course Details: The course, ENG102H5S, is a foundational introduction to conducting research for English courses at the university level. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering course content, developing and administering assignments, tests, and exams, and holding regular office hours.

Responsibilities: The duties of this position include preparation and delivery of course content, development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams, calculation and submission of grades, and holding regular office hours. The candidate will also be responsible for supervising any TAs assigned to the course, if applicable.

Requirements: A PhD in English with experience teaching introductory English literature courses at the university level, experience teaching discipline-specific research and writing skills at the university level, a strong academic record, demonstrated teaching ability, and evidence of currency in subject matter are required.
