Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic interprofessional health care team. As an LPN at Bassano Health Centre, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in accordance with AHS policies and Continuing Care Health Service Standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary health care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and report changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional states
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide education on self-care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
- Minimum one year experience in adult med/surg nursing within the last two years
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification
