Radiological Imaging Specialist

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care while operating radiological/accessory equipment with minimal supervision. You will perform a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, applying the ALARA principle, and remain responsive to and responsible for each patient in your care.
Travel to other sites may be required.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology. You must hold Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification and Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure. Previous experience is an asset, and qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is also an asset. Basic Life Support Certification is required, and you must be able to use time effectively by organizing and prioritizing duties, working independently and under minimal supervision.

HoursThis is a casual relief position, and you may be required to work call back, stand by, and shift work, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holiday coverage.
Compensation and BenefitsThe hourly rate for this position is $30.83 - $37.54.
