Management Development Program

EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Management Development Program. As a Management Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive 4-phase program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a leadership role.
Program Overview
The Management Development Program is a full-time, salaried position that offers a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. Successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada to complete their training, with relocation assistance provided.
Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service
In this phase, you will gain hands-on experience with the logistical side of the business, including product knowledge, customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, and financial statements.
Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement
As you progress through the program, you will develop strong relationships with customers and vendors, providing world-class service and learning how to read blueprint drawings to create quotes for materials.
Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales
In this phase, you will focus on business development, learning how to find new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and create level 5 customer partnerships.
Phase 4: Leadership and Operations
As a leader, you will provide a strategic vision, lead a team of your own, mentor others, and run the business by focusing on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in any discipline
- Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
- Desire to continuously learn and grow
- Excellent leadership, customer service, and organizational skills
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Strong interest in sales
- Valid driver's license
- Bilingual French and English an asset
