Job Title: Truck Driver

Roomy Logistics is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Logistics: Load and unload goods, obtain special permits and documents required for international routes, and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, with attention to detail and flexibility.
  • Personal Qualities: Judgement, reliability, and organized approach to work.
