Trend Hardwood Floor is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a smooth and even surface.
  • Install carpeting on floors, using knee kickers and other equipment to stretch and secure the carpet.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, providing detailed estimates and timelines for completion.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring that all work meets our high standards.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
