Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at Rocky Mountain Chocolate. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and manage food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu decisions
  • Supervise specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff
  • Create new recipes and menus that meet quality standards
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef
  • Cook Trade Certification and Food Safety Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility, initiative, and a team player attitude
