Job Title: Commercial Property Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc. As a Commercial Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our commercial properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained, secure, and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire and supervise rental agents and building superintendents to ensure the smooth operation of our properties.
  • Negotiate or approve rental or lease agreements on behalf of our property owners.
  • Ensure that all lease agreements are met and that our properties are well-maintained.
  • Hire and supervise support staff to perform operational, clerical, or maintenance duties.
  • Prepare and administer contracts for property services, such as maintenance.
  • Coordinate the implementation of repairs, maintenance, and renovation projects.
  • Monitor the progress and cost of work for our property owners.
  • Compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income.
  • Prepare expense and income reports.
  • Ensure a prompt response to trouble calls from clients or tenants.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
