As a Test Engineering Co-op, you will work under the direction of test development engineers to support the development and execution of manual and automated tests for variable frequency drives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing scripts for automating test procedures
  • Documenting test procedures
  • Executing test procedures for verification of product functionality
  • Creating test reports
  • Assisting with lab audit and improvement activities
  • Maintaining documentation
  • Assisting with build and commissioning of test hardware platforms

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Available to work a minimum of 9 months consecutively
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Available to work 12 months
  • Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Previous internship or co-op experience
  • Previous experience in a testing lab environment
  • Panel wiring experience
  • Exposure to AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and Control Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft VISIO and Access
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with C, .NET, VB, or equivalent

Base Salary Compensation is from $18 - 36/hourly (CAN). Our benefits can be found at [insert link]. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
