About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laborer/Driver to join our team at Alpha Better Landscaping. As a Laborer/Driver, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to landscaping and construction, including digging holes, planting trees and shrubs, and laying patio pavers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscaping:
    • Digging holes and planting trees and shrubs in residential communities, parks, and public areas.
    • Prepping top soil for loam and sod installation.
    • Seeding and mulching flowerbeds and trees.
    • Laying patio pavers and installing rain gardens and dry creek beds.
    • Installing rubber crumbs for playgrounds and playground equipment.
  • Maintenance:
    • Weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
    • Cutting and raking grass.
    • Removing litter and garbage.
    • Laying sod or seeding lawns.
    • Planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
    • Applying fertilizers and watering lawns and gardens.
    • Clearing snow manually or using snow removal equipment.
  • Equipment Operation:
    • Operating and maintaining applicable equipment.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for prolonged periods.
  • Requirements:
    • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
    • Clean driver abstract with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
    • Ability to work 8-12 hour days, Monday to Saturday.
    • Steel-toed boots with 8-inch ankle support.
