At SKT Logistics Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transportation department, ensuring that all logistics functions are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records and logs related to vehicle dispatching, maintenance, and operations
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations to optimize productivity and efficiency
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and administrative tasks
  • Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods
  • Assist with maintenance of communications equipment to maintain reliable communication channels
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders to meet customer demands
  • Follow-up on issues related to work orders to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work hours and performance metrics
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to ensure seamless communication
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to track operational costs
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities to meet business objectives
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
