We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites - High Level. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms, ensuring that every stay is a comfortable and enjoyable one.
About the JobThis permanent position offers a competitive salary range of $32,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. We provide a supportive and inclusive work environment, with comprehensive training and resources to help you succeed in your role.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture, making beds, and changing sheets.
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, and ensure that all housekeeping supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, elevators, and other high-touch areas, adhering to our strict cleaning and sanitation protocols.
- Handle and report lost and found items, assist guests with requests for extra supplies or services, and provide basic information about hotel facilities and services.
- Participate in quality control checks to ensure that rooms meet our high standards, and identify and address any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Willingness to train and learn new skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
