Job Title: Plastics Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Plastics Machine Operator to join our team at Top Quality Plastics Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various plastic manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weigh and mix resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to precise formulae.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Operate mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity.
  • Unload mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing.
  • Pack items for shipping and distribution.
  • Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compounds through nozzles or dies.
  • Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line changes.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring efficient production and minimizing waste.
  • Perform trimming and sanding of plastic or fiberglass parts.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and manual dexterity are essential for this role.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to train and learn new skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
