Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Uxbridge Nurseries Limited. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • DZ class license
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate
  • Defensive Driving Course
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Medical exam
