Uxbridge Nurseries Limited is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using computer equipment and GPS devices.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarp and secure cargo to ensure safety and security.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate.
  • Defensive Driving Course completion.
  • Valid passport and criminal record check.
  • Driving record check (abstract) and medical exam.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles and possess a valid driver's license.
