Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Uxbridge Nurseries Limited. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and minimal fuel consumption.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing professional and courteous service.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, DZ class license, and Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate.
- Experience: Possess at least 7 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of transportation and logistics.
- Communication: Be proficient in using Citizens Band (CB) radio and GPS navigation equipment, as well as possess excellent communication skills.
