About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Inspector - Operator of Fixed Vanes to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As an Inspector - Operator of Fixed Vanes, you will be responsible for measuring and recording the surface area and cooling flow of fixed vanes in accordance with established methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, calibrate, and validate master templates for production and customers.
  • Update parameter logs to establish efficient operations using statistical process control.
  • Adjust fixed vane fan blades using manual or automatic mechanical equipment.
  • Assemble and adjust subassemblies of parts of fixed vanes.
  • Receive and pack parts, and perform computer transactions inherent in department activities.
  • Check parts before and after testing, and raise discrepancies and non-quality notices.
  • Present discrepancies with a valid precedent.
  • Monitor and complete documentation, and ensure that proper tests and audits are performed by suppliers and P&WC prior to releasing parts and documents.
  • Record the value of the air flow surface and stamp the operations performed and sign the verification monitoring document.
  • Monitor parts in service departments to ensure a flow in operations.
  • Perform parts storage operations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Move parts in own department using the appropriate equipment.
Requirements
  • EN A Inspection ACS Program.
  • DEP in mechanical assembly or machining techniques.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms.
Assets
  • Mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • One to two years' relevant experience.
