Position Summary

We are in search of a Financial Operations Assistant to become a vital part of our team at Techo-Bloc's main office. Reporting directly to the Divisional Controller, your role will encompass overseeing and evaluating the financial activities of the designated divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of financial reports
  • Oversee fixed asset management and account reconciliations
  • Engage in month-end and year-end activities alongside external auditors
  • Monitor transfer pricing for inter-entity transactions
  • Reconcile various financial records, including inventory, accounts payable/receivable, and sales
  • Calculate and oversee monthly financial provisions
  • Support budget formulation and financial assessments
  • Collaborate with department leaders on performance-based incentives
  • Contribute to diverse financial analyses and operational discussions
  • Assist in the transition to AX 365 in collaboration with the Controller

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Excel
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Able to work effectively both in a team and independently
