About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MEGA SANJHA PUNJAB GROCERY STORE INC. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of sales workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to our sales team to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop our sales team to meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.
  • Order Merchandise: Manage inventory levels and place orders for merchandise to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize Returns: Process returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales of our products.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and manage the activities of our sales team to ensure efficient store operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail business with on-site customer service.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, and walking.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, and team player.
