About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Taj Contactors Ltd. as a Construction Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Concrete Placement: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to the specified grade.
  • Surface Preparation: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Compaction: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Surface Finishing: Level the top surface of concrete according to the specified grade and depth, and impart the desired finish using hand and power tools.
  • Work at Heights: Work safely at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Installation: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Surface Protection: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
