About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at Taj Contactors Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Concrete Placement: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Surface Preparation: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Compaction: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets project requirements.
  • Surface Finishing: Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications, and impart a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Work at Heights: Work safely at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices and techniques.
  • Installation: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Surface Protection: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and prevent damage.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain project integrity.
