Job Title: Senior Engineering and Technical Director

At Waterford Executive, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering and Technical Director to lead our engineering programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing standards and strategies for our technical programs, managing project management standards and tools, and leading, coaching, and mentoring technical and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide strategic leadership to the project, mechanical design, facilities, and maintenance teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, infrastructure improvements, and equipment improvements, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
* Build and mentor a high-performing team, encouraging professional growth and skill development.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices, applying this knowledge to guide the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in engineering or technical management roles.
* Experience in pyrotechnics or explosives (manufacturing, use, or design) would be considered an asset.
* Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Language Requirements:

The position requires minimum intermediate proficiency in English in each of three language skills: Reading, Writing, and Oral Interaction.
