Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit Grounds Maintenance Laborer to join our team at Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services. As a key member of our grounds maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of outdoor spaces.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be required to operate a range of equipment including lawn tractors, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools to perform your duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aid in the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers
  • Perform lawn care duties such as cutting grass, trimming edges, cleaning up refuse, and fertilizing turf areas
  • Assist with the construction of landscape gardens and related areas by moving and installing soil, mulch, and plant material
  • Spray and dust areas to control insects and weeds
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Assist the foreman with other work-related duties including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in the landscape/construction industry
  • Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
  • Effective communication skills – must be able to carry out verbal instructions, read labels and signs, complete simple reports, and report progress to the foreman
  • Time management skills
  • Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 per year, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan. We also offer paid time off and holidays.
