We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Carpet Plus Flooring. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of our facilities. Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants

Work Environment: Our work site is outdoors, with confined spaces, noisy, and dusty conditions. You will be working on a construction site, which can be fast-paced and physically demanding.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and experience in the construction industry. You must be able to work in a team environment and have good communication skills.
