Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Matrix Concrete Inc o/a Matrix Concrete. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Prepare tenders and quotations to estimate costs and materials.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Instruct apprentices and ensure they are properly trained.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade.
