About the Role

Casper Flooring Ltd is seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, marking them accurately for installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a smooth surface for flooring installation.
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, including hardwood and other materials.
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors, ensuring a precise fit and finish.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, restoring them to their original condition.
  • Estimate costs and materials for each installation project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare floors for installation, removing existing coverings and contaminants as needed.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be working on your feet for extended periods and handling heavy loads. You must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel comfortably, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in flooring installation, with a focus on resilient floor coverings and hardwood flooring.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
