Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Veer & Sons Flooring Ltd. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting and resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations
  • Install outdoor carpets
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
