About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HSE Coordinator to join our team at PCL Construction Management Inc. in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement effective HSE training programs.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • Working towards safety designation (e.g., CRSP, CHSC).
  • 3+ years of experience in a related industry.
  • Knowledge of applicable OH&S, environmental legislation, and HSE processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Ability to provide and apply conflict resolution techniques with craft workers.
  • Ability to develop, influence, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
