Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food is prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of food service staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that our food service establishment operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Supervise Food Preparation: Supervise the preparation of food and beverages to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage Work Schedule: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our food service establishment is adequately staffed at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, fast food outlet or concession
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking
  • Other Benefits: Parking available, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 40 hours per week
