Job Title: Surface Designer, Vehicles Development

We are seeking a skilled Surface Designer to join our Vehicle Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and validation of various surface systems for our recreational vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive modeling of aesthetic parts with complex surfaces and technical drawings (GD&T) during the development of the vehicle from the prototype phase to the production launch.
  • Support the workshop in the assembly, testing, and validation of prototype vehicles.
  • Actively participate in the configuration of vehicle hardware.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers in the design and development of new parts, systems, and vehicles.
  • Collaborate with various suppliers and the design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering teams.
Requirements:
  • A technical college diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or plastics engineering, or relevant design experience.
  • Good understanding of mechanics and good 3D visualization.
  • Experience in 3D modeling and surface design.
  • Ability to use software such as Catia V5 or Solidworks.
  • Ability to communicate well in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Desire to take on challenges as part of a team.
  • Strong interest in finding creative solutions to problems that arise and being recognized for your creativity.
