Strategic Contracts Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Contracts Specialist for a contract opportunity with a well-established client of ours. This position can be based in Calgary or Vancouver. The Strategic Contracts Specialist will primarily oversee the development and management of multi-year strategic construction and service awards, including RFI, EOI, RFP, negotiations, contract drafting, contract kick-off, and post-contract award management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and management of multi-year strategic construction and service awards.
- Develop and implement complex multi-year supply strategy programs.
- Lead and deliver large and complex SCM initiatives.
Requirements
- 10 years of progressive experience in procurement organizations with a focus on construction and service contract modeling.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Law, or Engineering. Advanced Business degree would be considered an asset.
- SCMP or equivalent procurement and supply chain management designation or certification would be considered an asset.
- Proven track record of influencing authority at all levels in the development and execution of spend management strategies.
