About the Role

Crop Intelligence is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agronomy Territory Sales Specialist to join our team in the South Saskatchewan territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our vendors, customers, and insight collaborators to grow the awareness of our Crop Intelligence insights, subscriptions, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with vendors to set and assist in the execution of sales goals to grow the volume of our hardware and subscription offerings.
  • Manage leads from referral partners, tradeshows, and online referrals through the sales cycle.
  • Be the key contact for sales programming offered by Crop Intelligence.
  • Train and engage vendors, customers, and collaborators on the insights delivered by our product to help end customers capture their full Water Driven Yield Potential.
  • Bring forward feedback on new insights and hardware products to be developed to meet customer needs.
  • Support the product in the field to ensure high-quality data collection to drive accurate insights.

Requirements

  • You understand that business is a team sport and are energized by working in a team environment, looking for wins for both sides in all of your interactions.
  • You have a passion for agronomy and a strong drive to build long-term relationships and increase the experience for both our vendors and our customers.
  • You are energized by speaking in front of groups and engaging the audience to participate.
  • You have past experience working directly with decision makers on the farm or decision makers at farm retailers or dealers.
  • You have a high drive to succeed inside a flexible schedule and enjoy the road, traveling to meet with customers, vendors, and collaborators 80% of your time.
