We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Specialty Pharmacy Operations to lead our national team and drive operational excellence, growth, and development within our specialty pharmacy division. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for all aspects of national specialty pharmacy operations, including process improvement initiatives and performance optimization.
  • Lead and mentor a multi-level team of pharmacy professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Develop and implement department policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance patient care experiences and drive business growth within the specialty pharmacy market.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue generation, margin management, and profitability, to ensure operational efficiency and sustainability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in specialty pharmacy practices to maintain a competitive edge and deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive pharmacy management experience, with a proven track record in specialty pharmacy operations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and guide teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strategic mindset for driving operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
